It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Donald Lynn Isaac, Sr. 

To those of us who loved him, he was Dad, PawPaw and simply "Don." 

He is survived by his wife, Janet, to whom he was married for 60 years; two children Donnie (Jr.) (Cary), and Tiffany (Keith); 4 grandchildren, Taylor (Susie), Ethan, Connor, and Arabella; and one great-grandchild, Natalie.

He was a teacher in Duval County for nearly 40 years and loved good food, good wine, travelling, FSU football and his beloved cockatoo, Charlie. He was a devoted family man, friend, and teacher who will be greatly missed.

The Celebration of Life service will be held at St. John’s Cathedral, 256 E. Church St. Jacksonville, FL 32202, on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at 11 am. Reception to follow at the Cathedral.
