Obituary

Lyn Larson Klee, born on January 21, 1946, in Memphis, TN, passed away peacefully on August 20, 2026, at her home in Jacksonville, FL. A dedicated nurse who spent her life caring for the sick and elderly, Lyn was known for her compassionate nature and her ability to brighten anyone's day.

Lyn had a passion for reading and loved to decorate her home, always finding ways to make it more inviting. Her culinary skills were impressive-she was known for her gourmet cooking, often whipping up delicious meals for family gatherings. Lyn also had a flair for thrift shopping, where she would often find treasures that made her home even cozier. In her free time, she enjoyed playing cards and backgammon, becoming quite the player; in fact, she won the Backgammon Championship in Memphis, a memory that always brought a smile to her face.

Traveling brought Lyn joy, and she cherished the adventures she shared with friends and family. Her great-grandchildren held a special place in her heart, and she loved spending time with them. Lyn is survived by her daughter, Jacqueline Austin; her son, Jeffrey Foster; and her grandchildren, including Dayle, Abbie, Clayton, David, Mackenzie, and Jennifer. She also leaves behind several great-grandchildren who she adored, including Marleigh, Gracie, Liam, Ford, and Kai. Lyn's brothers, Frank and Jim Larson, mourn the loss of their beloved sister.

Her warmth, kindness, and vibrant spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Lyn was preceded in death by: John Larson, Ida Larson, Clayton Klee
